My Experience

On Saturday, 7th of November 2014, I and my friends spent our Saturday night together. First, the boys in my class played football (Liga BM) in Lapangan Bali. My class played versus XI Science 3. My class finished playing in Liga BM at 3 p.m. I watched they played with my friends (the girls). Although my class lose the game, but it’s okay. After the boys finished playing in Lapangan Bali, we came back to SMA 3 to prayed Ashar. After we finished pray Ashar, we decided to watch the movie. But we must wait our friend that still in his house. And finally he came. After he came, we went to the cinema to watch the new horror movie, that’s Ouija. We went to the cinema with motocycle. There were about 5 motocycles. In our way to the cinema, it was raining! We didn’t know how should we do, because the rain was getting heavy. Finally, we decided to stop in the restaurant and waiting for the rain to stop. It was very fun. When we waited the rain stopped, it didn’t stop! So, we decided to continue our way to the cinema with wearing the umbrella in the motocycle. It was so embarrassed but we didn’t care about it anymore because it must be very long time if we waited the rain stop. On the way, we laughed because people in the street took a look at us! Some minutes later, we arrived at the cinema. We arrived at about 5 p.m., and then we ordered the ticket. But, the theatre that showed the movie at that time was full. So we decided to watch the movie at 6.45 p.m. While we waited for the movie, we ate first. We ate at Wendy’s. In Wendy’s, we played Truth or Dare game. But we can only choose “dare”. First, we spin the pen, and then I got the first turn. And then my friends asked me to took a selfie with the waiter of Wendys. It was so embarrassed. But I must followed the request. And then in my friend’s turn, the one must do the “cilukba” in front of cashier, the one must dance in front of cashier, and the one must dance with the singer in the stage. It was very fun. After we finished eating, we went to the teathre and watched the movie. It was very scary movie. I really enjoyed watch the movie because the movie was good.

Bullying

Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Bullying includes actions such as making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically or verbally, and excluding someone from a group on purpose.
There are many roles that kids can play. Kids can bully others, they can be bullied, or they may witness bullying. When kids are involved in bullying, they often play more than one role. It is important to understand the multiple roles kids play in order to effectively prevent and respond to bullying. There are some specific types of bullying behaviour: verbal or written abuse (such as targeted name-calling or jokes, or displaying offensive posters); violence (including threats of violence); sexual harassment (unwelcome or unreciprocated conduct of a sexual nature, which could reasonably be expected to cause offence, humiliation or intimidation); homophobia and other hostile behaviour towards students relating to gender and sexuality ; discrimination including racial discrimination (treating people differently because of their identity) ; cyberbullying - either online or via mobile phone.

Inspiring Person: Soekarno

I believe that everyone has an inspiring person. It could be an actor, actress, musician, or maybe politician. I want to tell about my inspiring person. He is a very famous person and I think everyone knows him. He is Soekarno. I've been admired our first Indonesian president since a long time ago. The reason why I admire Soekarno is because of his passion and dignity to make Indonesia indenpendent. It was hard to believe that Indonesia had a person like him and apparently this information is just two-percent of his real life and struggle to make Indonesia independent. Ir.Soekarno is the first Indonesian office in periode 1945-1966. He played an important role in the independence of the Indonesian nation. Along with Mohammad Hatta, Soekarno was Proclaimers Independence of Indonesia on August 17, 1945. I admire Sukarno because he was the nation's leaders who have a very strong personality, dignity, a sense of patriotism (nationalism), which is very high, an orator (an expert in speech) that exceptional, progressive-minded, as well religious figure. Nationalism and the personality of Sukarno has been proved by his struggle to achieve independence until Indonesia proclaimed its independence of this nation. If I asked you a question, "Who is the best Indonesian president?" I guess that you will answer "Soekarno". Yes, Soekarno is the best Indonesian president because with him, Indonesia was the strong, brave, and confident country. We were much more independently country because there was no country that could control us. Soekarno didn't fear to spoke up to the world with his opinions and complains. He had a very big spirit, very big charisma, brilliant opinions, and powerful voice whenever he talked in front of the public. All countries around the world paid attention to our country at that time. He is one of the best leader in the world. He wants Indonesia become a big country in the world without depends on other countries.
When Soekarno (Indonesia's first president) and Mohammed Hatta (first vice-president), two of the country's most prominent nationalists, pronounced the proclamation of Indonesian independence on 17 August 1945, together with the publication of a short and provisional constitution, troubles were far from over. In fact, it would take four more years of Revolution against the Dutch who - after being freed from the Germans in Europe - returned to reclaim their colony. The Dutch were stubborn to relinquish their lucrative Southeast Asian colony but eventually had to face reality. Under international pressure they acknowledged Indonesian independence in 1949 (except for the western half of the island of New Guinea). However, negotiations with the Dutch resulted in the 'Republic of the United States of Indonesia' containing a Federal Constitution that was considered to be too much influenced by the Dutch. Therefore, it was quickly replaced by a new constitution in 1950 which stipulated a parliamentary system of government, provided guarantees for individual freedoms and made the military subordinate to the nation's civilian leadership. The president mainly had a ceremonial role only in this system. How about his spirit? His spirit is very big to released Indonesia from Dutch colonized. He has a quote, “Don’t forget about history”. It means that we shouldn’t forget about all struggles that Indonesian heroes has done. They had a very big spirit that could change our country’s faith. So, in conclusion, Soekarno is a best leader to follow. His leadership can’t be compared to any Indonesian leader at this time.

AMAZING PLACE : Hillier Lake (Pink Lake)

Hillier Lake is a lake on Middle Island, the largest of the islands and islets that make up the Recherche Archipelago, Western Australia. The most notable feature of the lake is its pink colour. The lake is thought to have been first visited by the Flinders expedition in January 1802. Flinders observed the pink lake after ascending the island's peak. John Thistle, the ship's master, collected some of the lake's water, which he found to be saturated with salt. The length of the lake is about 600 metres (2,000 ft). The lake is surrounded by a rim of sand and a dense woodland of paperbark and eucalyptus trees with a narrow strip of sand dunes covered by vegetation separating it to the north from the Southern Ocean. The most notable feature of the lake is its pink colour. It is such a significant distinguishing feature of the archipelago that air passengers often take note of it. The colour is permanent, and does not alter when the water is taken in a container. Although the source of the pink colour has not been definitively proven in the case of Lake Hillier, the pink colour of other salt lakes (e.g., Pink Lake) in the region arises from a dye created by the organisms Dunaliella salina and Halobacteria. Lake is stained to the color pink. The reason for this color has not yet been clarified. This color is permanent, even following the entry of water into a container. In the mid-twentieth century, scientists have studied the composition of water in the lake wanting to find out what causes the lake takes on the color pink. At first it was thought that the color of algae that produce such Dunaliella salina, which produce a red dye, but their conjecture is not confirmed. Another hypothesis is that the pink colour is due to red halophilic bacteria in the salt crusts. Despite the unusual hue, the lake exhibits no known adverse effects upon humans. From above, the lake appears a solid bubble gum pink, but from the shoreline it appears more of a clear pink hue. The shoreline is also covered in salt crust deposits

J. K. Rowling is a British novelist, best known as the author of the Harry Potter fantasy series. Rowling was born to Peter James Rowling, a Rolls-Royce aircraft engineer, and Anne Rowling, on 31 July 1965 in Yate, England. Rowling was working as a researcher and bilingual secretary for Amnesty International when she conceived the idea for the Harry Potter series on a delayed train from Manchester to London in 1990. The Potter books have gained worldwide attention, won multiple awards, and sold more than 400 million copies. They have become the best-selling book series in history, and been the basis for a series of films which has become the highest-grossing film series in history. Rowling had overall approval on the scripts and maintained creative control by serving as a producer on the final instalment. The seven-year period that followed entailed the death of her mother, divorce from her first husband and poverty until Rowling finished the first novel in the series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (1997). Rowling subsequently published 6 sequels—the last, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (2007)—as well as 3 supplements to the series. In 1995, Rowling finished her manuscript for Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone on an old manual typewriter. Upon the enthusiastic response of Bryony Evens, a reader who had been asked to review the book's first three chapters, the Fulham-based Christopher Little Literary Agents agreed to represent Rowling in her quest for a publisher. On 26 December 2001, Rowling married Neil Michael Murray (born 30 June 1971), an anaesthetist, in a private ceremony at her home, Killiechassie House, near Aberfeldy. Rowling's and Murray's son, David Gordon Rowling Murray, was born on 24 March 2003.Shortly after Rowling began writing Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince she took a break from working on the novel to care for him in his early infancy. Explanation Text

TSUNAMI The term of “tsunami” comes from the Japanese which means harbour (“tsu”) and wave (“nami”). A tsunamigk is a series of waves generated when water in a lake or the sea is rapidly displaced on a massive scale. A tsunami can be generated when the sea floor abruptly deforms and vertically displaces the overlying water. Such large vertical movements of the earth’s crust can occur at plate boundaries. Subduction of earthquakes are particularly effective in generating tsunamis, and occur where denser oceanic plates slip under continental plates. As the displaced water mass moves under the influence of gravity to regain its equilibrium, it radiates across the ocean like ripples on a pond. Tsunami always bring great damage. Most of the damage is caused by the huge mass of water behind the initial wave front, as the height of the sea keeps rising fast and floods powerfully into the coastal area.

Amazing Place : Raja Ampat

The oceanic natural resources around Raja Ampat give it significant potential as a tourist area. Many sources place Raja Ampat as one of their top ten most popular places for diving whilst it retains the number one ranking in terms of underwater biodiversity.
According to Conservation International, marine surveys suggest that the marine life diversity in the Raja Ampat area is the highest recorded on Earth. Diversity is considerably greater than any other area sampled in the Coral Triangle composed of Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, and Timor-Leste. The Coral Triangle is the heart of the world's coral reef biodiversity, making Raja Ampat quite possibly the richest coral reef ecosystems in the world.
The area's massive coral colonies along with relatively high sea surface temperatures, also suggest that its reefs may be relatively resistant to threats like coral bleaching and coral disease, which now jeopardize the survival of other coral ecosystems around the world. The Raja Ampat islands are remote and relatively undisturbed by humans.
The high marine diversity in Raja Ampat is strongly influenced by its position between the Indian and Pacific Oceans, as coral and fish larvae are more easily shared between the two oceans. Raja Ampat's coral diversity, resilience, and role as a source for larval dispersal make it a global priority for marine protection.
1,508 fish species, 537 coral species (a remarkable 96% of all scleractinia recorded from Indonesia are likely to occur in these islands and 75% of all species that exist in the world), and 699 mollusk species, the variety of marine life is staggering. Some areas boast enormous schools of fish and regular sightings of sharks, such as wobbegongs.
Although accessing the islands is not that difficult, it takes some time. It takes six hours flight from Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia to Sorong. Then, taking a boat to reach the islands is necessary.

Descriptive Text : Rubik's Cube

Rubik's cube is a toy puzzle designed by Erno Rubik, an architect and professor at the University of Budapest. It is a cube-shaped and contains of smaller cube pieces with six sides having different colors. The cube was so popular during the 1980s, and at its peak between 1980 and 1983. 200 million cubes were sold world wide. In the solved condition, Rubik’s cube has six faces which all of the colors are same. The Rubik's cube has red, yellow, blue, green, white, and orange color. The edges and corners move when the cube is rotated and the cube becomes scrambled. The challenge of the puzzle is to solve each cube to the original position.
There are many solutions to solve the Rubik’s cube. Lars Petrus, Jessica Fridich, and Shotaro Makisumi, are people who created the solution to solve it. A common solution used by cubers was developed by Jessica Fridrich, a professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Binghamton University. It uses a large number of algorithms, especially for orienting and permuting the last layer. The cross consists of one color is done first and then continue to make second and first layer by F2L (First 2 Layer) algorithms that consist of 41 algorithms. The next step is to solve the third layer by OLL (Oriented Last Layer) and PLL (Permutation Last Layer). Fridrich's solution requires learning roughly 120 algorithms but the Cube can be solved in only 55 moves on average.
There are two kinds of Rubik’s cube, DIY and Original Rubik’s cube. DIY (Do It Yourself) Rubik’s cube is the cube that can be assembled and modified by ourselves. The core of it made up of bolts; so we can arrange the bolts to get a comfortable Rubik’s cube. Types of DIY Rubik’s cube are, A type, C type, and F type. Every type has different advantages for cubers. For the example, F type is a lightweight Rubik’s cube and it almost can’t be pop out. It is suitable for a stylish cuber. C type has a good material and it suitable for a rush cuber. The second type is Original Rubik’s cube or we can call Ori Rubik. Ori Rubik is the cube that can’t be assembled or modified by ourselves. The core of this made of nails. Ori Rubik is suitable for a beginner cuber that’s training their fingertrick.
