My Opinion About "TV-free day"

I agree if there will be one day without TV in a week. I think it will make our day more productive because we can do a lot of other things that are more useful than just watching a television. For example, we can use our time for doing our homework, studying, cleaning the house, helping our mom, walking around the house-block with our pet, and so on. There are so many things we can do than only watching a television, right? And then, without watching a television, parents and children can spend more time together. Of course we can feel it when our parents busy watching television, they will be focus on the program and won't have time for us, right?

Besides, if there will be one day without television, the children will go outside and play. Children that play with their friends will make a better effect than children that just watch a tv. That's because if children play, they can express themselves and they can explore the environment around them. Of course it will make a good effect for them. And it can make them smarter because they will know and they will be familiar with so many new other things.

So, I agree and support the 'TV-free day' programme. Like I said before, there will be so many things we can do than just watching a television. In addition, there are so many television programmes that don't teach the kids, especially those soap operas that tell us about the love story of some teenagers and were made with very dramatic scenes, right? So if we start it with one day without tv, who knows that the children will accustomed to life without tv and they won't watch tv again, because they feel like playing with their friends or doing some other things are more useful than watching a television.

BOOK REVIEW : Sunshine Becomes You

The story began with Alex Hirano, an infamous pianist, went to Ray Hirano's dancing studio because his little brother insisted to take Alex out of his apartment. There, an incidentally meeting between Alex and Mia was triggered. The incident was so fast, Mia Clark, a teacher of that studio, fell down from the stairs and made Alex's hand injured, which made Alex's long planned concert ruined. Mia felt at fault, and of course Alex thought that it was Mia's fault too. Mia thought, to repent on her fault she needed to be Alex's right hand. She went to Alex's apartment everyday to made Alex coffee, do cleaning, and such. Alex wasn't very delighted at first.

After that long time they spent together, at least Mia could peek at Alex's heart, see him smiling, and many more, and so did Alex. They actually could feel their heart jumped off.

At one time, Alex found out that Mia was a great dancer and a graduate from his university, which of faculty of dancing was so hard to get in. But in fact, Mia stopped dancing already from a disease. Well, I don't want to tell what's the disease was~

So then, it was about the struggle between Mia, her dancing, and the disease. Alex was always beside Mia, comforting and supporting her. And then, it was the time when Alex would miss Mia's coffee every morning.

I think the storyline is so good, but I don't really like the ending. Ilana Tan represented her imagination into beautiful words, and I respected her. However, I haven't read her novels beside this and Winter in Tokyo. Well, back to the topic, it supposed to be a tear-jerking story.

The ending was hard to predict at a few first chapters, and it was so easy when the hint was given. I like how the twist in the story, but still I don't like the ending. If I can, I want to make it into a better ending. But it was for the best. The novel is from a best-seller author after all.

PEACE DAY

Once upon a time when I was in an elementary school, I have some best friends, but there was 3 best friends that I always spent every time with. But one day, one of my 3 best friends (just call her X) made mistakes (really, I forgot what's her mistakes), so I and my 2 best friends avoided her. We never talked to each other with X, and we never greet each other. It was very childish rite? Yea I hope you understand because we were still an elementary school student in that time hahaha. And after a week or 2 weeks, X talked the problem to our teacher, and then our teacher called the four of us. Then we explained about our story, about her mistakes, and we also asked our teacher some advices. After we finished tell our problem, our teacher gave us advices. She asked us for apologies X and get along well to each other like before. So after that we apologized to each other and the problem were finished!

CAMPRT at RANCAUPAS

On Friday, 20th November 2015, SMAN 3 Bandung 12th grade went to Bumi Perkemahan Rancaupas to follow that Pramuka's event (Camping) that named CAMPRT (Camping Pramuka Tiga). First, we gathered at Lapangan Depan SMAN 3 & 5 Bandung and wait for the army truck come. We gathered at 6.30 a.m. After all our friends came and the army truck came, we went there at 7.30 p.m. In the truck, we really had fun because we were talking to each other and some of my friends were joking, and we played some games like Garuda 5 Dasar (I know this is very childish but who cares, hahaha). It was very narrow so we must sit jostled but it was okay.

We arrived there at 9.30 a.m. First, we build the tent. After finished, we put our carrier bag to the tent and tidy up our stuffs. After that, we did the opening ceremony (Apel Pembukaan). After that, there were some spare time.

At 11.30 a.m. while the boys Jumatan, the girls gathered at the field with Mrs. Ida and we followed "Keputrian". After the boys finished Jumatan, we started the activity, it named "Jelajah". So we must came to the pos, pos 1 until pos 5, and we must do the challenges in every pos. The challenge was like solve the code, guess some sounds, etc. On the way to one pos to another pos was very challenging because there were some road that full of mud! So our shoes were very dirty. It was tiring.

After that, we came back to the tent and cooked some food for dinner. My class cooked pasta. In the night, all the students gathered in the field and there was bonfire. We sang some songs together, like "Photograph" by Ed Sheeran, "Lost Stars" by Adam Levine, etc. It was very fun! After that, I and my friends went to sleep at 11 p.m. It was very cold and it was 15 Celsius degrees.

In the Saturday morning, we wake up at 5 a.m. It was really cold and we were shiver! We ate some hot noodles to help warming our body. After that, we did the activity again. Same like yesterday, we must came to some pos. But in this time was not as tiring as in the Friday.

We came back to the tent at 10 a.m. After that, we tidy up our stuffs and we tidy the carrier bag and ready to leave the camp.

On Saturday, September 19th 2015, SMAN 3 Bandung presented GAMARVANI "Gemilang Cinta Negeri". It's kinda cultural festival and also a bazaar and performing arts. In Gamarvani, there were so many food truck, from the traditional food until modern food. There were so many guest stars too, like the main guest stars: HiVi and ADERA.

I went there at 3 p.m. It was still not to crowded by people, because most people came at 4 p.m. or 5 p.m. I went around the area, looking for the food truck and bought some food. I bought ice cream, drinks, milk, etc.
This is the location map of GAMARVANI.

The main guest stars are Adera and HiVi. Adela was on the stage at 6 p.m. He was very stunning. His voice was really nice and the audience were very enjoy seeing him singing in the stage. After Adera finished his performance, the next guest stars are HiVi! I'm sure that every people that came in Gamarvani were really excited to see HIVI because their songs were really nice! And I was also very excited to see HiVi! But we must waiting like 30 minutes or more for HiVi. But that was okay because we were really excited. They sang some of their famous songs, such as "Siapkah Kau Tuk Jatuh Cinta Lagi", "Orang Ketiga", "Mata Ke Hati", "Curi-curi", and many more. I was really really really enjoyed the night and sang the song together with my friends. We really enjoyed the performance. I was very happy that night!
