The Lonely Landy

One day, there was a porcupine named Landy. He was lonely. No one wanted to play with him, because they were afraid of his spike.

“Dear Landy. We don’t want to play with you because your spikes are too sharp. We don’t want you to hurts us,” said Cici the rabbit one day.

“Cici is right, Landy. It is not because you’re bad or rude to us, no, Landy. Just because of your spikes. They will stab us if we close to you,” said Tito the rooster.

Landy felt lonely. Landy spent most of the time day dreaming at the river bank, “I would be happy if there were no spikes on my body.”

Suddenly, Kuku the turtle appeared from the river. He came to Landy and said, “Landy, what are you thinking of ?”

“Oh, nothing,” Landy replied.

“Don’t lie to me, Landy! Who knows I can help you,” said Kuku wisely. Then he sat beside Landy. He wasn’t afraid of Landy’s spikes.

Shortly, Landy told his problem. Kuku nodded his head. He said, “Poor you. But it isn’t your fault. I know, your spikes are very useful and helpful for you. They will realize it someday. Trust me!”

“Thanks, Kuku. You are my best friend.”

One day, Koko the frog held his birthday party. He invited all his friends, including Landy. But he decided not to come. He didn’t want to mess up the party.

“I’ll come with you Landy. I’ll tell everyone that you’re harmless,” said Kuku. Finally Landy attended the party. Everyone enjoyed it.

Suddenly Tito screamed, “Help….help.…! The evil wolf is coming. Save yourself!” Then, everyone saved their lives, except Kuku and landy. Kuku pulled his head and his leg into his shell. And Landy rolled his body into a ball.

Unintentionally, the evil wolf touched Landy. Of course, the spike pricked him. He screamed, “Ouch!” Since his foot was bleeding, he didn’t chase Landy’s friends any longer. Then, he ran away.

“Horray….horray….! Long live Landy! He saved our lives,” said Cici and her friends. They thanked him from then on. Landy wasn’t lonely anymore.

Moral  value  :

We should not underestimate someone’s bad physical appearance.

Unforgettable Moment

On Thursday, 22nd of November 2012, I went to Dufan with OSIS-PK SMPN 5 Bandung. First, we gathered in 5 JHS at 6 a.m. Then, we went to 30 Junior High School Jakarta by bus. We arrived at 30 JHS at 8 a.m. The students in 30 JHS are very kind and friendly. We talked about our school and that was very fun.  We were at 30 JHS until 11 a.m. After that, we came back to the bus and went to Dufan. I though we will be stuck in traffic, but we were luckily because we were not stuck in traffic, we enjoyed the trip while listened to music and talked with each other. We had so much fun and that was a super quality time! Then we arrived in Dufan at 1 p.m. Before we tried to play the games, we had lunch. After that we tried to play the games, there are many games in Dufan, I also saw some new games, like Hysteria and Tornado.
The first game which we tried to play was Kora-Kora. It was very fun. Then we tried to play the others games, such as Niagara, Poci-Poci, Rollercoaster, Ontang-anting, Arung Jeram, and many more.
We were very excited, but the clock was showing at 17.00 pm. We must go back to the bus to came back to Bandung. Before we came back to the bus, we had dinner. Finally, we came back to the bus at 7 p.m and arrived at Bandung at 10 p.m. Although we were tired, but recreation in Dufan made us happy.

Describing Friend

Now, I would like to tell about my friend in my new class.

Her name is Saniya Azzahra. She is a nice person. She is using veil. She is my classmate in X Science 1 and in English Class too. She was born in Bandung on 29^th of December, 1998. She lives in Dago Street Number 151.

She has one little sister. Her sister’s name is Teta. Saniya likes eating cheese cake. Her hobbies are singing and cooking. Her favorites subjects are chemistry, biology, math, and English. She wants to be a public speaker. Her inspiring person is Nabi Muhammad SAW.

She is from Pribadi Junior High School. She is cheerful, diligent, and she is such a good friend. Her voice is loud. She loves laughing.

Her next destination is Faculty of Electro Institut Teknologi Bandung. She loves singing and cooking. She loves singing because she can express herself. She likes cooking because she likes to eat.

Describing Myself

My name is Alvira Dwilestarie Putri. I was born in Bandung on 10^th of May, 1998. I live in Leuwipanjang Street Number 155. My hobby is swimming and playing piano.  

            My class is X Science 1. I love this class so much because the students are very nice. They are all such a nice friends. I love the teachers too. I’m very proud to be a part of this class.

            I’m from Banjarsari Elementary School and 5 Junior High School Bandung.

            My favorite subjects are English, Math, and Biology.

 I love English because it is fun and interesting. I like English because it is not only a good tool for entertainment but also an important means of communication. I have also made many friends from around the world on the internet. English is an international language and it is very important.

I love Math because I like challenge. Another thing I love about Math is how it can be applied to loads of different aspects of live. Math is very useful in real life.

I love Biology because it is very interesting and I want to be a doctor.

My next destination is Faculty of Medicine Padjadjaran University Bandung.

Now, I’m going to tell about my parents. My father’s name is Ir. Jaji D. Warsa. He was born in Bandung on 17^th of November, 1967. He is an engineer. He works in D&C Company as site engineer. His office is at Jakarta, and his project is at Cilacap.

My mother’s name is Emilia Nilawati. She was born in Bandung on 22^nd of May, 1977. She is a housewife.

Now, I would like to tell about my daily activities. I usually wake up at 4.35 a.m. o’clock. I often go to school at 5.50 o’clock and arrive at school at 6.10 o’clock. I usually study at 7 p.m. o’clock. I often sleep at 10 p.m. o’clock.
